BUG Hole and Thread Note not working as stated

Hi guys,

Surely I'm not the only one having this issue. I was really excited to try out the new Hole and Thread Note feature in drawings only be smacked back down to reality.

The notes don't seem to automatically generate any kind of hole notes. The bend notes work perfectly fine. The hole features were generated using the Hole Tool.

Can anyone help out?

Thanks for reporting it, can you please share the design file for this particular part.

we try to mimic the design and tried to create the Hole & Thread notes and there was no issue in that.(Refer Image)

@nemadec I found the issue. We're using drawing templates created from an older version of Fusion. I've sent you a PM with the link (I don't want to share this template since it's used for commercial use for anyone else reading, Sorry!)

Based on further investigation,
This issue (Empty Notes) is found reproducible with old drawing files that contain 'bend notes'.
or
Template which is derived from the drawing specified above.

Dev team has already started working on this bug, for the early fix.
You shall see the resolution very soon.

bin noch nicht wirklich fit, aber die Funktion scheint nach fast zehn Monaten immer noch nicht zu funktionieren. Kann das sein, oder liegt es doch an mir?

as I am having the same issues, are there any news on this?

Still having this very same issue, even with a rebuild template.
(Using the standard ISO template works fine, but when I use my own template it -sometimes- doesn't)

I'm sorry to hear the issue is reproducible for you, but it seems that it is not the same old scenario.

Can you please confirm a few of the below doubts;

Whether the issue you see now, is persistent all the time? (before/after the fix)
Can you share a video/data file so that we can quickly reproduce the issue in-house and address it as a priority?

Sorry, couldn't figure out, why it wouldn't work until I came across a post mentioning the limits of the notes tool.
As in my case: it will only work for internal threads created with the hole tool.
