Cant select all bodies of project when in 3d print window.

When in design mode, I can select all the bodies in my design.
When I go into the 3d printer section to export this as a .stl file...I can only select 1 body at a time to export, which in turn will not print correctly on the 3d printer.

I have tried to drag and select in both directions, hold shift and click on the bodies, and hold control and select all the bodies, but only 1 body will select at a time for some reason.

I deleted the two extra bodies and recreated them. When I used the extrude tool...instead of selecting new body I chose join.

This limited the project to a single body and I am able to print my project now, but im still confused on why I could not select multiple bodies and have Fusion squish them together and export them all as a single .stl

Another workaround - use the Modify -> Combine tool to join the multiple bodies together to print. Then undo the combine to return to the previous state.

But printing many bodies is possible - In Fusion pick Print 3D menu item. Then instead of picking a body to print, click the browser top item. Here it is "Pen holder labels". This model has lots of bodies which can be easily transferred to the slicer. Edit 2025-7 something seems to be different as this approach now requires the 3DMF file type to be selected. Just using .stl file type does not work.

If there are certain bodies you don't want to print, in the slicer (well with PrusaSlicer) right click and turn off "printable" on the body you don't want.

For me works to create selection set. Than 3D print and on the top o the selectors like Bodies, Origins, Selection set should appear. Choose this from 3d print menu and you good to go print all parts.
