topic multiple instances in Fusion Support Forum

Hi, this is just a brief feedback from an OSX user.

When F360 is running I set it to "keep in dock" the icon.

In the future, after restarts, will invariably end up with multiple icons / instances of F360 running on my computer and have to spend time quitting them / figuring out which one to quit etc.. Has nobody else noticed this? It seems like this basic user experience problem has been going on for years and years and years and it's way beyond ridiculous. Is there really no way to sort it out?

ps the second most annoying basic experience is that Screencast starts automatically after each relaunch of Fusion. There's really no excuse for having an unwanted background process with access to all of your computer running 24/7 for no reason! So have to remember to systematically quit that too.

@maker9876,

For the first issue, do you have Skip launch items creation when live update checked in the Preferences > General section? From your description, I have usually seen duplicate icons during update, but not each launch. If I'm describing something else, would you mind capturing an example?

The Screencast feedback has been passed along - thank you!
