There are a few ways to do this, some are easier, some are a little more cryptic. If you switch your Autodesk ID, you will not have access to your saved cloud based files so you must choose one method.

Cache your Project to your local Drive - This is one of the fastest methods and the one I demonstrated on my Screencast. It places the files on your local drive in a complete but somewhat cryptic form. To find these files after caching, you will need this article. I will caution you, you must be able to see hidden files on your Windows computer.

I also showed in the Screencast how to download the files individually from the Fusion 360 Web Database.

I did not show another method where you open each file in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export to a folder of your choice on your hard drive. This is also rather time consuming.

Also please note: The Hobby Fusion 360 license does not exit anymore. It is been replaced by the Startup Fusion 360 license you have to apply for.

@Anonymous wrote:

oh, and on my only file folder i can get also, if the few days run out?

I do not understand this question but I want to answer the one on how to get your files back onto the cloud on a new Autodesk ID profile. There are two ways I see to do this. One you have already mentioned, open the files locally and save them to the cloud. The other is use the Upload command. This will be far the fastest. I will remind you that if you use the Cache file command, the files will have extended characters added to the file name. You may want to rename them "before" you add them back to the cloud. An example of a cached file is shown below with the added extra characters highlighted.

You can use the Upload command to upload the files quickly as I mentioned to your before. You may want to edit the file names, also as I mentioned before if you are going to upload cached files. The files will probably carry a new date since the cloud thinks you are uploading them for the first time. I suggest you do a test run on a few files now to get the feel for it.

Normally companies use Fusion 360 under a subscription license but you have never said what type of license you were using. Were you the only user at your company? If you were and your created an Autodesk ID for that use and the company will allow your to keep it, I would not change it. If not, then you will be required to change it. Normally when someone creates a Personal Autodesk ID, they never change it. You use it for all Autodesk application that you use in YOUR name and licensing.

If you have received a notice from Autodesk that you are receiving a Basic license that is one of four types shown below. The first in the list is also called a Paid Subscription license.

A Basic license is the second one in the list often called a Personal License and is free to all that follow the "non-commercial" use restrictions. If you want to read more about the capabilities of Fusion 360 under this license please select this link.

Last, if you can keep your Autodesk ID, I would which will preserve your access to your files, although it will be limited due to the Personal License type. If you want to create a new Autodesk ID, that is OK but you will loose all access to your files but you anticipated that anyway and you will be entitled to use Fusion 360 free with a personal license.

You were using Fusion 360 under a subscription license since it was a part of the Design Suite. You will probably notice a substantial difference between the Fusion 360 license you were using and the Personal License, especially after the first of the year when Active Document limits kick in. Be sure you read the article I sent in my last post.

By the way, you have an interesting way of spelling certain words like "profile". Where are you located and what is your native language?
