Browser Panel

Hey all!

I've just noticed this after the most recent update (I think) but when I'm in the Manufacture workspace, where it says "Models" with the little expansion arrow icon, I cannot seem to expand the Models section. I need to hide/unhide components in my CAM but I cant. I have to switch the the Design workspace and hide it there, then switch back to Manufacture.

Is it just me? I know I've used that in previous updates...

Edit: First time I've used this, but the Windows 10 screen record doesn't show the Bowers or Workspace dropdown. Idk what's happening lol

Your video does not tell us much since it does not show where you are experiencing the error namely the Browser. Create a Screencast and post it, it is free and a part of Fusion 360. If you did not install it, you can download it from this website.

If you are using imported SW models or ANYCad with Inventor/Solidworks, this is a known bug currently under investigation. The solution at this point in time is to go into the Manufacture workspace, go into the Setup menu and select "Create Manufacturing Model". The will become visible. Yes, it's not ideal, but it's what we got for now...

Thanks, I didnt know there was a built-in Screencast in Fusion. Learn something new daily!

Hopefully this makes it clear.

I did see a reply saying that SW .Sldprt have some quirks, and in this case, it is in fact an SW part and that it's being worked on by the team.

The free personal license of Fusion will not translate a *.sldprt file?

Do you have free license or paid professional license of Fusion?

I saw a reply about SW .Sldprt having quirks. This is one of them.

Anyway, please excuse the newb screencast posting. My first one i've had to do so i'm learning to navigate that tool.
