Zooming in gets worse the longer I work on a project

Hi, it seems that zooming close to an object gets worse and worse the longer I work on it. It seems that the program since a few weeks tends to set it's own midpoint for where it thinks it should decrease the zoom rate for the mouse wheel.

It works fine in orthogonal viewing mode, but the zoom gets really tedious when working in perspective mode. At one point I can keep scrolling but it doesn't zoom in. When I worked in Rhino I could reset the zoom to zoom on a certain object to fill the window, from there on out it worked fine again in Rhino, but Fusion doesn't seem to have this option.

Any idea how I can reset the zoom rate? It works fine when I start modeling, but the longer I work in a document the worse it gets.

The only fix I have now it to close and reopen a document, but you shouldn't have to, right?
