The Threadkeeper app is storing the custom threads in this folder:

<LI-CODE lang="general">%AppData%\Local\Autodesk\webdeploy\production\[VERSION_NUMBER\Fusion\Server\Fusion\Configuration\ThreadData</LI-CODE>

My current version is this: a86b1e861af1608f41e2e5ec25336d404338c9db

So my path is

C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Local\Autodesk\webdeploy\production\a86b1e861af1608f41e2e5ec25336d404338c9db\Fusion\Server\Fusion\Configuration\ThreadData

which is the current installation folder as far as I can tell.

The issue persists between restarts as well. I just don't have access to any of the custom threads currently.

Is there a different folder that is being used for custom threads?

Currently, my copy of Fusion360 fails to load custom threads at all. No idea why, but it first occurred with the october/novemberish updates. Now, it never loads them, whereas earlier this year it loaded them no problem.

Originally, I had written a small batch script to scan the install folder and copy the files in if they were missing, but then I learned about the Threadkeeper app, which works well. (My only complaint with the app is that when F360 updates, the old files aren't moved over to the new install folder, but that's not Thread keeper's fault, and the files are so small it really doesn't matter...)

Anyway, back to the issue. I have verified that the custom thread file does indeed exist in the installation folder. For reference, this the thread I am trying to use:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/getting-started/caas/simplecontent/content/3d-printed-thread-tolerances.html

https://autode.sk/3mSvu9R

It loads both in the Hole command and the Thread command just fine. You may be doing one of two things wrong. You may not have the latest version Configuration folder select to place the XML file and/or you may not have restarted Fusion 360 after you placed the XML file in the correct folder.

Bumping my thread because the issue still exists.

I have confirmed that I am indeed working in the correct folder. Fusion 360 is not seeing anything outside the scope of the threads in the following picture:

Consider this thread closed. I am making a new 'ISSUE REPORT' on the github page for ThreadKeeper.

I had made my post earlier today prior to the January 2021 update getting pulled down to my pc. I did not have threadkeeper installed at the time.

After the update, all the standard threads were present. I installed threadedkeeper to import the threads I had, and all of a sudden this issue presented itself. I uninstalled threadkeeper, performed a clean uninstall of all things Fusion360, reinstalled F360, dropped the custom threads into the ThreadData folder, and everything showed up properly.

So based on that, the issue is most likely related to threadkeeper's interaction with F360. My previous attempts to reinstall I had never unchecked the "Keep offline fusion design data" option. Apparently keeping this offline data was the reason that my reinstall attempts were still broken. This time I checked that box off, and it reinstalled and worked fine.
