I'm no longer seeing this issue. However, I do still have a problem where
I cannot select the command to simulate or view print statistics after
post-processing until I pan around in the model. (Usually that gets those
two icons back.) The icons just disappear from my toolbar.

After installing the latest update, I've had some issues with Additive work. My build platform disappeared, and new models could no longer generate G-code. Fortunately, reinstalling fixed those issues. However, there's one issue that has not been resolved by reinstalling Fusion 360:

Immediately after I generate a toolpath, Fusion tells me my Additive Toolpath is invalid. I checked the warnings, and here's what I'm seeing:

TorpedoToolpathGenerator::generateToolpath(): parts are above the platform without supports/rafts

Warning: Sparse Infill Speed reduced to Max Extruder Speed

Warning: Solid Infill Speed reduced to Max Extruder Speed

Warning: Internal Perimeter Speed reduced to Max Extruder Speed

Warning: External Perimeter Speed reduced to Max Extruder Speed

Every model I'm working on now has some variety of these warnings. (Some have just sparse infill, some have both infill types, etc.) I can still post my G-code and print files, but it happens on every single model now.

What I want to know is, why are these appearing? And is there something I'm doing incorrectly? Or is this a bug? I've never run into these until the December update was installed.

I'm wondering if the "Max Extruder Speed" warnings are related to reducing my flow rate to get appropriate line widths. But the parts are not above the platform and print just fine. So, no clue why that's supposedly a problem. These all seem to be bugs to me, but I'm open to suggestions.

I was having the same problem and I discovered that the Max Extruder Speed setting is in the machine setting. If you go to your machine library, right-click on your 3D Printer and click on EDIT, you will find this setting. My default Max Extruder Speed setting for my Ender 3 was set at 30 mm/s!!!

Hi @seth.moffit & @vinc.beaulieu ,

Thanks for making us aware of this issue and apologies for the delayed response.

This is strange behaviour... I no longer see this issue in the design workspace, but I still see this "shadow offset" issue in the manufacture workspace - see the image below:

Thankfully this is not affecting the toolpath generation, but I agree this needs to be fixed and you shall see this implemented in a future release.

For the meanwhile, I'm sure you're already aware, but if you'd like you can turn off this shadow completely via the "display" settings as shown below:

This seems very strange behaviour... are you still able to reproduce?

If you can, could you send a video of what you are seeing?

Hi @Eric_Schubert & @tj.houghton,

The reason why you saw the following warning messages in the past (and why you still might see them sometimes now) is because the parameter limits specified in the machine configuration sometimes override the print setting parameters because they exceed what the machine is capable of.
However in the past, some of the parameter limits set in some of the FFF machines were wrong and hence gave way to more of these warnings than were necessary.
These have since been updated and are now correct.

Warning: Sparse Infill Speed reduced to Max Extruder Speed

Warning: Solid Infill Speed reduced to Max Extruder Speed

Warning: Internal Perimeter Speed reduced to Max Extruder Speed

Warning: External Perimeter Speed reduced to Max Extruder Speed

@tj.houghton if you use the machine available in the Fusion 360 machine library, you should now see the Creality Ender 3 has the correct machine limits:
