Making STL file from a model - not able to select the part I want to save as STL

I am new to Fushion 360 and am working through this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvrHuaHhqHI

I am at the part where I want to create the two STL models ... one for the Stamp and one for the handle. However, I am not able to right-click on the stamp. When I over over or select "sketch" I am not able to save as STL. I tried to select the drawing and group it but i am not able to do so. Still new to Fushion, so working to figure it out. I am able to save the handle and make that STL file from that part. Thanks in advance ...

You must Right Click on the Body or the Component, not the sketch, to get the context menu "Save to STL"

If you still are having trouble, attach your file and the forum users can help you out. The Stamp, if you used text, may have extruded as multiple bodies, you have to combine them into one. If you do not know how to attach your model, open it in Fusion360, select the File menu and then choose Export and save the .F3D file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section of a reply forum post to attach it.

Hi ... thanks so much ...the file is attached. My issue is that I cannot select just the stamp. I have Sketch 1 and Sketch 2 but those encompass only parts of the Stamp. Whereas handle is the entire handle.

As I explained, in message 2 of this post, you do not use sketches to create a STL file from, you use bodies or components. You would highlight Body 1 and then right click to get the Save as STL command.

I could not resist showing you how to create a "properly configured component" after you have created the bodies and sketches under the top level assembly. Most of the time you create the component first so all sketches and bodies automatically fall under it. In this assembly you did not. Take a look at the Screencast and try it yourself.
