Hi,

I have two sketches, one on XZ plane the other on YZ plane. I have this circle on YZ plane the center of which I want to put at the exact point where the spline on XZ plane and YZ plane intersects. I am thinking it would be quite comfortable if the spline and the center of the circle could be made coincident the circle still being on its original plane, but it doesn't work this way. Projecting the sketch doesn't serve the purpose here since the point I aim to get is still unspecified. So how could I do this? I would appreciate any help.

edit the sketch with the circle, and use the Project->intersect command:

and select the spline. This will create a point at the intersection of the spline and the sketch plane.

You may also want to use plane along path. That will put the origin of the new plane on the spline and it will also make the plane normal to the spline.
