I'm using the free EDU Chromebook browser-based version of Fusion 360. More often than not, when I move the cursor using my track pad I find that the object spins around like I'm in orbit mode. But I'm not in orbit mode. Entering orbit, moving, and exiting orbit doesn't help. It makes it impossible to design anything since I really can't click anywhere when every mouse movement causes the part to rotate. Any suggestions?

I cant reproduce that on my Chromebook. I would definitely recommend connecting an external mouse if you can get hold of one, it will make things much easier. If not you should be able to rotate using SHIFT+ 3 fingers on the mouse pad. Does that work for you? I wonder whether you have some intermitent stuck down keyboard keys interfering.

I got some Chromebooks at home, and can't reproduce in any. That said, the four different Chromebooks have all remarkably bad touchpads, so I agree with the recommendation of adding a mouse.

I and a student had this issue. I was running it on a laptop with a mouse and they were running a school issued chromebook, also with a mouse, but I think the solution shout work for a track pad. I believe it has to do with a prolonged left click on the touchpad/mouse. It appears to get locked and stay locked. If you hover back over the cube and do a long touch/click and then move off the cube, your mouse cursor should become an arrow (the default shape) and it should be solved. You may need to try this several times.

It's almost like there is a lag between the input and what's sent to the cloud/server and it still thinks you are hold down the mouse button even though you let go. Hope this helps.

I've same problem on PC with mouse. Long left click gets the arrow cursor and a steady display. As soon as I click on anything the display goes wacky again. Anyone find fix?

Pc and Win 10, when it happens to me, save and close the file (can do that - don’t know what starts it,)

Open the file seems to fix it, and no need to reboot Fusion, as other file tabs are not effected.

Might help....
