I have had at least three instances of this problem.

As stated in the title, I am running Fusion360 (latest version as of Jan 22, 2021 - yesterday) on a Mac mini (16 GB RAM, 2.6 GHz dual core Intel i5). MacOS V11.1 (Big Sur).

Launching Fusion360 fails - the icon barely shows in the dock - while previously it did work normally.

I haven't been able to pinpoint the action/situation which preceded this error.

In the system console I found these messages:

Jan 23 11:54:38 Mac-mini com.apple.xpc.launchd[1]: Coalition Cache Hit: app<application.com.autodesk.dls.streamer.scriptapp.Autodesk-Fusion-360.xxx-xxxxxxxx.xxx-xxxxxxxx(501)> [860]
Jan 23 11:54:38 Mac-mini com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (application.com.autodesk.dls.streamer.scriptapp.Autodesk-Fusion-360.xxx-xxxxxxxx.xxx-xxxxxxxx[764]): Service exited with abnormal code: 126

The only workaround I have found so far is to reinstall Fusion.

Also tried to delete the files in /Users/username/Library/Saved Application State/com.autodesk.fusion360.savedState, hoping that some leftover file is/was corrupt, but no luck.

Is anyone aware of this problem - and hopefully a fix?

PS - something that may be related: "Autodesk Fusion 360.app" does not show in the Applications folder. I have to launch it from Launchpad. (I have found a way to make it show in the Applications folder, but it this is not normal.)

No, I didn't, thanks for asking.

I still can't start Fusion from the MacOS Applications menu or from the Launchpad.

My solution was to find and launch the executable, then right click the icon (on the dock) while Fusion is running, select "options / keep in dock".

This way I can easily start it.
