Unfortunately there's no "modelled" option for tapered threads in Fusion. A solution that some have used is to insert a part from McMaster-Carr with a male thread and use that with a combine-cut. It's not ideal and it obviously depends on the McMaster-Carr part being modelled correctly but short of constructing a tapered spiral and sweeping a thread profile along it etc. it's probably your best option.

I'm trying to create a modeled thread for export as STL for a 1/2" PCV conduit (1/2" NPT). I'm familiar with modeling the threads using the threads tool, but NPT is missing and seems to only be available in the hole feature. I can model a NPT for PCV pipe and fitting correctly using that tool, but it does not appear to model that thread, it's just an image/representation. Solutions to this?

Okay, that's what I've come to find unfortunately, although those answers were a couple years old. Seems as if nothing has changed, thanks!

I'm not familiar with other 3D parametric CAD applications so can't comment on those.
