Counterbore symbol converts to countersink on student lab

My students counterbore symbol looks like a countersink symbol. I had him download the part and I put it into my drawing sheet and my counterbore symbol looks fine but his looks like a countersink. I hade 3 students with the same problem and I had them show me all there settings and they look like mine. What could be wrong?

I see a couple of issues.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Hi Cadwhisperer,

Here you go, note it dimensions properly with a counterbore symbol and blind hole on my drawing file. I think the problem is in there drawing file not the part file. Is there a way to download the drawing file?

You can use the method outlined in this Screencast to download the Fusion 360 drawing and related model from the Fusion 360 Web Database you are concerned with.

Edit: When you get the download of the F3Z file, stop there and attach it using the Attachments section of a forum reply.

Can you double click on the text and post image similar to this?

On a side note: I was alarmed to discover that the ASME Hole Note by Fusion does not follow standard. (The arrow should always point through the center of the hole. Geisecke et al.

Edit: Also Sketch2 and 4 in the part are not fully defined - poor modeling practice.

I'm aware of the ability to manually change it. I want it to be automatic to keep students honest.

I have absolutely no idea what this response means?

I am trying to determine what fonts are installed (or not installed) on the machine that fails to show the GDT symbol portion of the Hole note.

The reply was for jhackney1972 comment. Some miss communication here.

I was reading the posts too quickly in class and now I understand that I need the students' to identify their fonts. I'll reach out to a few students to identify their fonts via video conference. I'll post their fonts hopefully today as I feel closer to the solution and that is awesome.

I am interested in the *GDT fonts, not the Arial so much.

I haven’t dug deep to find hoe Fusion displays those symbols, but in other Autodesk software it is via a *GDT font.
