Possible Bug: Copy - Paste Component Not Available In Some Instance

So interesting potential bug - I'm trying to copy a part from a history-captured design and it won't let me paste the component into the upper level assembly (which is not history-driven) to reuse as a general object. However, if you copy the same component into a new design (even not saved), then copy that item, then paste it back into the original upper level assembly, it works...

What's up? Is this intended functionality? Seems kind of odd...

Can you please explain the problem in a screencast/video, Also attach the Fusion 360 File>Export your *.f3d/*.f3x file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply.
