Apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Currently, Fusion 360 does not support creating a dimension that references two separate views (for example one reference from base view and the other from detail view) simultaneously.

I will add this to the enhancement request list.

Thanks,

Hi,

can I ask if anyone knows how I can dimension from the front face of a component (for example) that isn't in a detailed view, to a point that is in the detailed view further along the component?

In the attached photo, it is a simple component and as you can see, I can dimension what is required so I don't need any "Can't you just.........."

I need to know how to dimension from 1 view to a detailed view as you can in solidworks. This has been required for quite a few drawings recently. If it can't be done, can we raise a request to have it added?
