Thanks for your help. I see what happened in this case. It was a rare situation where the would wall thickness displayed happened to be a value similar to a fraction of the the diameter, which is what the hover value refers to. I expected the hover value to refer to the dimension indicated by the arrow/leader lines. I'm new to using F360.

While sketching a circle I noticed the dimension displayed was off by one order of magnitude from the value entered (entered as 1.935" but displayed as 0.1935". However, when I hover the cursor next to the incorrectly displayed value, the correct (as entered value: 1.935") was displayed (see in the screenshot the inconsistent values right next to each other).

Anyone notice this before? Note the inconsistent dimension values

Do you think it's OK to make fun of dyslexic people?! LOL... But, seriously, why does the d5 dimension display as the circle's diameter while the dimension indicated by the dimension arrow/leader refer to the wall thickness? I assume the d5 is the internal controlling dimension, but this risks confusion, no?

this feels to me more like a discrepancy between the document's unit display type and the value typed into the dimension. For instance, I have a mm design, but I created this rectangle, typing in "1 in" for one dimension, and "10 cm" for the other:

the hover value shows what I typed, the static display uses the document's units.

Again, if you can share the design, it will be easier to determine
