Hi @Anonymous

When appearances is applied to individual faces in Form environment , Finish Form will remove the individual faces and creates a solid/surface bodies, so the appearances applied to the faces will be lost.

Note: Appearances remains when it is set to a per body/component level rather than face level.

Thats the reason in your design some bodies had appearances even after finish form.

I attempted to include a screencast link in my original post but I guess that didn't work either. I have replied to my post with a link. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

@Anonymous - the thing to remember here is, the T-Spline body is a different object than the solid or surface body created from it. The fact that this conversion happens automatically does not change that fact. If, at any time, you have applied an appearance to the solid body, that appearance will always be applied to that body, even if you apply a different material to the T-Spline. If no appearance override has been applied, then Fusion will keep the T-Spline appearance on the resulting solid.

If you share your design, we can take a look at it, but my guess is that you have some kind of appearance override applied to that solid or surface body.

I figured it out. The solution was just using the convert tool instead of pressing finish form. I'm not sure what the difference is, but it allowed me to convert it to a B-Rep and still keep the faces I needed
