I have a 2018 Haas TM2P that is wired for an A axis Rotary table, but currently don't have it installed. I took a Haas VF3 template and added in all of the Haas TM2P data I could find, deleted the reference to the A axis and the C axis in the configuration editor. I keep getting A axis post when I used my custom configured machine. The only way I could get it to stop posting A axis info was to remove the machine configuration.

I don't know what I am missing in the configuration editor. It's annoying to have to find the A axis g-code everytime I change something on my model, or CAM. If the A axis g-code comes into the control I get an "unconfigured axis" or some such error. Is there a setting I am missing? Or is it even worth it to configure your machine?

Hi @jmilesbrammer

You took Haas VF3 as a template machine that machine file has simulation data which stores the rotary axis values in mtk definition so even if you remove the axis from by editing the machine still it has multiaxis definition in the mtk.

we are working on to sort this issue.

I am attaching here a zip file which has a machine file is clean from simulation data you can modify it as per your requirement

Hope it helps
