Colour selector for "Cycle component colour"?

This is an odd one, and maybe I'm missing it, but when you have the colours selected, for cross-section views and the like (Shift-n), each component has a different colour. Ish. There's clearly some algorithm that selects the colours by whatever means, and you can change that by going to the LHS browser, and right clicking, then hitting "Cycle component colour" to change that component, but how can I select which colour? It gets really old, really fast to keep having to change the colours to match the previous time this feature was used!

So, is there a menu, or some way to drive that colour from somewhere? A parameter, perhaps?
