Hello,

Im about to start a new business venture and have been using and running fusion 360 on an old laptop which is struggling currently. I have been offered a Mac Pro running high Sierra. I have seen online that come this month fusion will not be supported on this platform. Would I still be able to install fusion and use an older version of the software on this computer set up or would I be better off looking for a different computer?

cheers

callum

@Anonymous @If you already had a version of Fusion 360 installed we would let you using that version. Updates will be blocked. We however do not let new install on an unsupported OSX.

hello @RajkumarIlanchelian ,

I just updated from 10.12 to 10.13.6.

Fusion was working fine on 10.12 (though no updates possible).
now, it won't let me work anymore without updating, but updating is impossible.

why are you blocking users???

I feel totally despaired, as I have some things to get done, and can't update now to 10.14.

you said you would let users work with previously installed Fusion306 version. but that's not what happened to me, and now I'm stuck.

how can I do?

thanks

regards

thanks for your answer.

issue is:

first app loads fine, but then main window is masked, and dialog asks for update, saying "update now or do it later" (first screenshot). I assume that by clicking on the cross on the top right corner, I could go on using the app but then the second screenshot appears and app closes, without more warning.

hope you can help.

thanks

I discovered that if I use fusion without internet connection, it works fine. but I have no files. it's all online.
I can download it from the cloud, but it's quite a hassle (but at least I can work!). and I sometimes want to export into STL, but I can't find a proper way to do it without being online in Fusion360.

thanks for looking into that.
