Thanks dan62Q5E, this did indeed get me back into the software. Thank you for your help. Now all I need is my UI back. Any ideas?

When I opened Fusion 360 today the top of the UI was invisible. I could click on the buttons and see the menus, but not see the buttons or tool bars. I tried various fixes on here but nothing worked. As the software still worked on another computer of a lower spec I reinstalled Windows 10 updated and reinstalled Fusion 360. Now I get the splash screen and the launch window, but that is it. it never loads the log in page or the software. I have been through the various fixes for similar problems and nothing has worked. I have attached a pic of the window I get.

any help would be much appreciated.

Same. The cause is that you're logged out of Fusion and the login boxes on that splash screen are invisible just like the UI. To get back into the program, download the Autodesk Desktop App. Log into it and then launch Fusion 360. That worked for me. It doesn't bring back the UI; but at least it gets you into the program.

That depends. How bilingual are you?

In my thread on this topic someone has posted that they figured out that it only affects the English UI. I switched to French (they used German) and the UI came back. It's better than it was since I can see the icons that way but I'm so fluent in French that I can really use Fusion 360 this way. But it's a start.

I'm having exact same problem. This morning top was invisible. Reinstalled and was stuck at splash screen.

Thanks for the tip about Autodesk Desktop App. I'm back in Fusion 360 but still invisible.

Thanks dan62Q5E, changing the language to French did bring the UI back as normal. Its not ideal having the software in French but al least the top of the screen is visible. Having used the program for so long now I can probably get by, but can't wait for a fix..

While an application in French is fine, I did find this post by Lance.Carocci that restored the English version.

One potential workaround is to force Fusion 360 to use software rendering by setting a system Environment Variable.

Right-click on My Computer/This PC on the Desktop or in the Start Menu and select “Properties”

In the left column of the System window that appears, select “Advanced System Settings”

Within the System Properties window that appears, click “Environment Variables” in the bottom right

Within Environment Variables, click “New…” under the System Variables section

For Variable Name, enter QT_OPENGL

For Variable Value, enter software

Click OK to save the new variable

Launch Fusion 360

Yup, that came up a day or so after the language workaround was discovered. In addition to that, there was a patch released yesterday that should make the variable unnecessary now.
