Tool Library not responding

Hi all I have come here looking for wisdom and I hope someone can help.

This is my first post on the forum so I hope I have done everything correctly.

Firstly I have trolled for days through the forum and tried all the solutions I could find on here and I still cannot open the tool library with out it going non responsive and having to force fusion 360 to shutdown.

I have reloaded graphics drivers and tried to put the library into classic mode which does get further but still becomes non responsive.

If anyone has a suggestion around this I would be grateful

these were the main sources of information which I have used and non seem to work.

Fusion 360 freezes when opening the Tool Library and the Library does not appear

Modify Cloud Libraries/Tool Library Settings in Preferences

Can you try turning on the 'new tool library' from your preferences? Does that improve the behavior?

Thanks for your suggestion but yes I have also tried that with similar results. In fact it does not get as far with the new library on.

Ok - this article might help. In particular you might need to add Fusion as an exception to your antivirus.

What OS are you on?

Thanks again for the info. I am on windows 10 64 bit.

I have also tried with antivirus disabled with the same result.

Ok - can you try the other suggestions in that article as well:

Ensure graphics drivers are fully updated. The date of graphics drivers can be seen in the Graphics Diagnostic window.
- How to get graphics diagnostic information in Fusion 360
Switch the graphics driver used by Fusion 360 from Direct X11 to Direct X9.
Perform the steps in the following article: Fusion 360 freezes when opening the Tool Library and the Library does not appear.
