My fusion does not work

my fusion 360 does not work. I can not draw or do anything. it appears as depicted above. how do I solve the problem? I am using an education version.

this is how my window appear ever since I have installed it. it is my first time using the software, but when I want to draw something, whenever I select to create a sketch, it does highlight the feature but I am unable to draw in the window, and also no plane access. I first thought that I needed to activate my grid but that is not the case. see below, settings seems to be correct.
