Ever since I installed Screencast (Version 2.5 (Mainline) / Build Apr 18 2019 10:28:24 (1019977)) Fusion asks for me to login every time I launch the program.

I have gone through the technical support login troubleshooting article:

"Autodesk software asks to Sign in every time it is launched, every few days, or at every reboot"

Fusion 360 automatically launches Screencast if it is present, but it seems that Screencast is interfering with saving the login token in the LoginState.xml file (~/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Web Services/LoginState.xml).

If I put Screencast app in the trash it doesn't automatically launch, and I don't have a problem with Fusion 360 retaining my login state between sessions.

I am on a M1 MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020, macOS Big Sur 11.2.3) running Fusion 360.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

(Please don't ask me to post a Screencast to document this problem. 😉

Thanks. This is known and reported already on the forum. We're looking into it.

For now, it looks like you found a way to work around it. Let me know if you have questions.

The issue may have been known, but the problem was never solved. There is a workaround, that is delete Screencast. But that cuts you off from posting bugs since it is pretty much required that you post a Screencast to document any bug.

Feel free to use whatever free screen recording application you wish to use, and thanks for posting on the forum.

Since you use a mac, have you considered using Quicktime to record your screen instead? Screencast is not required to post to the forum, it's just convenient for some users, and since it's an Autodesk product and this is an Autodesk forum, it comes up often.
