Hiding sketch with V key no longer functions

click on sketch element, hit V, nothing happens.

It used to hide sketch. It seems it is broken. Not a HUGE deal but as with many things, when something is wrong with a low level function it usually means more gremlins are around the corner. LOL

You are just being a wiseguy right?!? 😂

The elements of a good software is that you ALMOST NEVER EVER HAVE TO USE THE TREE cuz.. only monkeys play in trees.. . 🤣 But it looks like this software occasionally tries to go back to the "Shock the Monkey" days..Actually I think autocad 12 even had this ability.. 🤔

used to be able to double CLICK on a sketch element and then it would select the entire related sketch elements, then hit V to hide/unhide..

but.. what I noticed is if you click on a CLOSED sketch element it works, if you click on an isolated sketch element, it doesn't work.

I am NOT trying to get carpal tunnel or win a mouse mileage contest..

FIX IT AND QUIT PLAYING AROUND ALREADY!!!! 😘

I feel fairly certain that no behavior has changed in this area in a very long time. The "v" hotkey only works on an entire sketch selection. Double clicking on a sketch line/curve selects a chain of sketch curves, it does not select the entire sketch, and I'm pretty certain never has. And, I'm also pretty certain that "v" has never acted on a chain of sketch curves.

I understand that you dislike the way it works, and that is a valid criticism, but I don't believe (I can always be proven wrong, of course) that the behavior has changed.

. So for every other type of element, double clicking selects the entire tree elementl IE clicking on a face of a 3d object selects the face.. Double clicking on the same face selects the entire 3d object, and then allows one to use V hide/show on the entire category.

So.. Sketch has a different behavior.. It works IF the sketch objects are linked and can produce a valid extrusion AND you double click in the CENTER of the sketch .. but.. If I click on a single sketch line, it will usually simply hide that SINGLE TREE ELEMENT.. Which is a bit odd.

If I double click on the single sketch line, it SHOULD select ALL items within that category and allow me to V hide/show the entire tree element if we are to be consistent in the UI operation.
