I have tried every tip that is given in the many threads about this issue.

My cutter is much smaller than the slot.

I don't have a helical ramp.

I adjusted the engagement and minimum cutting radius all the way down to .001" with no effect.

I've checked everything I can possibly think of, but I can't do a simple 2d Adaptive in an open-ended pocket that is .375" wide using a .125" diameter end mill.

This is something I do literally all the time and now it just doesn't work.

I should note that Fusion removed my design extension access and have been absolutely awful to deal with in trying to get it back. It has been 12 days and still I have gotten nowhere with getting my access restored, let alone all my saved user settings and defaults (which is likely what is causing this issue.)

Looks like my saved defaults on my heights got ruined so it defaults to selected contours for my top height, I'm guessing that is what was causing the issue.

Probably about the 30th instance so far where my design extension access and saved settings being removed cost extra time and money. This is getting extremely frustrating.

All I changed was the selection under the Geometry tab. Screen Captures below.

If this answers your Forum post, be sure to select the "Accept Solution" icon on one of my posts to close the question.

By the way, I want to bring something to your attention. When responding to a post from someone, do not use the "Post Reply" icon as this will address your post to yourself. Instead use the "Reply" icon on the post you are responding to address your post to that person. Look back at the messages in this post and you will see what I mean.

That isn't what caused the issue, as the selections are essentially the same. When I switch mine to the pocket instead of the chain (which has the same exact barriers as the pocket) nothing changes.

It is most likely due to the heights change, as that is the only difference I can see. The underlying cause of which is not being addressed by Autodesk's support team at all. My top height being the same as the bottom means there was no Z depth to machine.

I have been trying to contact Autodesk support to restore my design extension access and my saved settings/defaults, but I have been ignored each time for over a week. This is just downright ridiculous.
