imported stl file not shown

when ever I upload a model to fusion 360, and then import it, the model is not shown? what do I do?

Attach a sample STL file that is giving you issues. You may have to Zip it first before attaching.

1. unzipped and saved local

2. File > Open xxx.stl

As @g-andresen has already mentioned, simply Insert Mesh into your design.

Could you explain why adding a mesh fixes this?
