Thin wall Extrude BUG!?

This came up in another thread but never got addressed.

The side of offset seems unpredictable for arcs. Side 1 seems to be inside for circles and most arcs also offset towards the centre point. What I found is for an arc where the start\end points are not aligned vertical or horizontal the offset is random and worse still changes with diameter!

Here you can see the 30.00mm radius arc offsets to the outside, change to 20mm and the offset changes to the inside! Seems like it would be a good idea if the Side 1 option offset all arcs\circles towards the centre point and Side 2 to the other side. File's attached.

In the original thread where this problem came up there was also a problem while patterning where some offsets flipped to the other side in the pattern.

Here before pattern all offsets are towards the arc centres.

After pattern 4 arcs flip!

The preview from the pattern dialog is correct.
