topic "Unsaved changes" message - but the design has been saved in Fusion Support Forum

I have a model with 5 inserted components. I opened one (v8), edited it, saved it and closed its tab. It now shows as version 9 in the file brower.

Back in the main model's tab, the "1 component is out of date" icon has appeared. When I click on it, I get an "Unsaved changs" (sic) message. It says the component I edited is still v8 and has unsaved changes - and do I want to discard them? No I don't! How can I make this design look at v9 of this component?

I cannot save the open design in this state - it says "Saving 0 of 2 designs" and the Save button is greyed out.

I cannot add a screencast - it keeps giving me an error message about auto-saved content and invalid html when I try to post a reply containing a screencast (would make a screencast of it, but that obviously won't work!).

The original screencast for this thread is here: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/community/screencast/084037e3-4edd-4cee-a989-ea43f1dc2ba3

I've done a second screencast showing that when I click cancel, the updated version (v9?) of the inserted component appears for about 1 second, then it reverts to v8 https://knowledge.autodesk.com/community/screencast/780af5a5-7ab7-430a-8226-e3b359fa1f28

If you close fusion and restart it is the problem still there?

Are you able to attach the model?

I've just restarted it. Now when I tell it to Get Latest it manages it. I'm just glad there weren't any edits in the base design that needed saving - I don't seem to have lost anything.

Thanks for the suggestion.

That's very good news, sometimes in fusion when something is being silly a restart will fix it.
