topic Unable to sweep/fillet along tight path in Fusion Support Forum

I am trying to do a fillet or sweep along a fairly tight path which is giving me errors due to intersecting surfaces. I'm not sure what other way I could achieve the part I need without using a sweep or a fillet. I also attempted using a surface sweep, which didn't return an error but gave me surface artifacts from the intersecting profile. Attached is a picture of this for reference of what I'm trying to achieve.

yes, this is a limitation of Sweep - it does not allow self-intersecting results. And, yes, surface Sweep can allow this step to succeed, but the result is still somewhat invalid geometry. There may be other ways to get to the final result, though.
