Linked component not drawn correctly

Hi,

I have a linked component inserted into my design, however it is not drawn correctly.

You can see in this image that the vertical structures are not aligned to the bottom edge, and as such they clip into the top horizontal member.

However in the original design has everything aligned correctly.

Any thoughts? Or is this just a bug?

I don't want to have beark the link and edit in place if I have to.

This doesn't answer the question directly, but -

I would have at least one Grounded component.

I would have Joints (or all Rigid Group).

There are a number of issues with your design. The immediate problem that you bring up here is because of this Capture Position feature in your timeline. Before that feature, the design is fine:

After is when the shift comes in:

Simply deleting that feature fixes your immediate problem. But, the root cause of the problem is the way this design positions components. Using Move and Capture Position is not recommended, and leads to this kind of position instability. Instead, use Joints to position components. This will provide a stable and reliable way to make sure your components stay in position, and update correctly if the geometry changes.

also, looking at the various sub-components, I see a LOT of warnings (yellow features). You should always fix those errors as soon as they happen. Warnings are an indication that some valuable design intent has been lost. In larger designs, this can also cause performance issues:

for instance, I re-created the "back wall" in a much simpler form, and put it together using a combination of Joints and Component Pattern:

This version is rigid, and will be able to be positioned in the top-level shed design as a unit. It probably could be made more parametric, but it will at least be stable when inserted. Model is attached for reference.
