When I upload to fusion a DWG file that contains objects that had been mirrored in AutoCad, for some reason those objects look dark and you can see thru the material.

So I always have to do some extra work deleting them and then remirror the objects in order to have them how they supposed to be.

Can anybody help me with this

If you look closer you can see the inner lines on B, that is wrong. If I remirror on Fusion it does it right, but that is extra work for me. I don't know what to do to import it propertly

Here is another example with two screws. They should look the same but they don't. One was mirrored on AutoCad before uploading the Dwg

this still looks like an appearance issue, not a geometry issue. If you can share the design, we can provide more info. You are welcome to try re-mirroring, and the new mirror will definitely inherit the appearance from the source, but I still feel like that is more work than you should have to go through.

I created a quick file for you to try to see if you can help me.

Thanks for the example. On an initial look, I think I understand what the problem is. The mirrored body is "inside out" (face normals are pointing the wrong way), and my theory about appearance might not be correct. Let me investigate further.

Humble apologies, @Anonymous - I was wrong about appearances. It does appear to be the issue described above, where the mirror transform as applied in AutoCAD, when imported into Fusion, does result in an "inside-out" solid, which accounts for the strange appearance. I have so far been unable to fix this by any tricks, so you may be correct - the only way to fix it is to delete and re-mirror. This is clearly a bug in Fusion, and we will work to fix it.

one more request: Can you share the DWG file for that simple "two blocks" test? I'd like to share that with the translator team, because I think that is where the problem is introduced. You may have to zip it so that the forum will not reject it. Thanks.
