Copying a Line

This inside selected blue line forms the inner part of a flat pipe. How could I move or copy this line to somewhere else so as I could form a plate of this shape

Hi,

It is not necessary to copy and/or move the sketch.
You simply create a new body from the profile and move it as needed.

Even when I have selected all the lines so as they appear blue, I am unable to select the inner area to extrude it.

What are you using to make these little videos, it may be helpful if I could show this in video form.

Hi,

Hide the body and check, if there exists a closed profile > enable "Show Profile" in the sketch palette.

Please share the file.

File > export > save as f3d on local drive > attach it to the next post.

I will upload something later as it's going to get more complicated, but to start off with just simple stuff.

For a pipe like object your method works fine if I have used "Offset" to create the hollowed interior. But I can't achieve this when I have used the "Shell" command.
