Hi,

I have multiple Fusion 360 licenses, as I use your software in various companies. One is a free private one I use at home, another is a free startup license and the third is a paid commercial license. As I would like not to have to log in and out of the different accounts, I've considered sharing all files so one account has access to everything, but what consequences might this have?

I know for example that solidworks are very strict when you mix student licenses with commercial ones, and I don't want to invalidate all my professional drawing by sharing them with a free license.

Also what if I share a commercial drawing with a non commercial account for feedback, will that have any consequences?

Looking forward to you reply,

Kind regards Sasha

Hi, Thanks for using Fusion.

yes, you can interact with each other with the help of Teamswitcher in Fusion.

Since you have 3 emails (each own different licenses) are invited to each other, and then you will start seeing them in Teams list.

Regards,

Sasi

Hi Sasi,

Thanks for your quick reply. Just to clarify: if I then share a folder with my private license and I draw a part with my private license, and then I use that part with my commercial license account, then it is not a problem to use that part professionally?

Kind regards Sasha

Hi Sasha,

I didn't completely get your question, is it something like:

UserA and UserB are in TeamA , UserA modified the design. Can user B see the change made by User A? is that your question?

If so, yes UserB can see very well the latest changes. It is like the file is the same and is accessed by 2 different users.

If my post answers your question, please click the "Like " and "Accept Solution" buttons. This helps everyone find answers more quickly!

Regards,

Hi Sasi,

No that is not what I mean, sorry if I miss phrased it.

When you have a non-commercial free Fusion 360 account you are not allowed to use your 3D drawing commercially. So what I'm asking is, what if I share a folder or a file from a commercial paid account with a non-commercial free account, and the person with the non-commercial free accounts makes edits or changes anything in a 3D file, will the drawings then still be eligible to use commercially?

Hope you understand my question.

Kind regards Sasha
