I have had problems for about a month reloading Fusion on my machine. I receive the following error:

I have tried to get Autodesk support for this issue, but that is proving impossible. I was able to chat with a representative and tried all the suggestions they had for the issue with no luck. They created a case number for me, I responded with some data to their initial email, then crickets. I looked back into the case and they never responded to me, until they sent an email saying case was closed :-/. I chatted and spoke with a representative yesterday. They indicated I needed to respond to the email about the case being closed asking to have it reopened. I did that, but it was bounced back saying address was now invalid. The Autodesk representative said I would get a call within 1-2 hours yesterday. This did not happen.

Can someone, anyone, help me?

With the log file, I see this error which changes my suggested fix. This webpage, from Autodesk, should help out. You error is due to an Internet connection error. You may have network access but the parameters, needed by Fusion during installation are not addressed.

I have reviewed the references and did try the only suggestion I hadn't already and updated the Bypass proxy settings. This did not address the problem. Some of the suggestions included using Fusion Service Utility, but I can't access that without having fusion installed, which it won't. Is there another way to access fusion service utility

No, not as I know of. If you are using a Wireless Connection for installation, I would switch to a cable connection directly to your router. Also, I would temporarily disable your Firewall just to see if that is still causing the issue. You issue is clearly a connection issue, I wish I could help further but I do not use a MAC or Apple Product so I am in the dark as to your required settings methods.

The issue is still a network issue. It seems to be an intermittent error according to the log file. It downloads some and then the SSL error (network) occurs. The article I sent earlier suggest that it could be to an Anti-Virus application running. I would be sure to turn these off to try if you have not. Good Luck!

I don't have virus software, I have absolutely no other issues with computer and internet connectivity. Of course Autodesk support has not reached out to me even though they have 'escalated' the issue and promised a call back yesterday. Now they are saying it won't be till next week. Ouch!!!

I have a general question for anyone. I'm curious, if I pay for a license vs. free personal version, is Autodesk more responsive and engaged when dealing with issues? My question is serious, perhaps it's worth it to purchase a license, even though I don't need the added feature base.
