Howto create a conical tube

I tried to create a conical tube of 125mm high and basis 34mm and top 16mm with 2mm thickness.

I tied it with sketching 2 concentric circles and extrude it with 4 degrees Taper angle. The problem is that the hole is just opposite the conical body and ends in the middle.

I tried then new to sketch a line in 4 degrees with the length of 125mm , 17mm from the middle line, and made a object from it of 2mm, then I wanted to revolve it, but I do not manage that.

How can I easy mange this.

You could create a plane 125mm above the XY plane, sketch circles on each plane, loft then shell. See attached file.

Revolve and Shell or Thicken

1 sketch

No extra planes.

Primitive geometry.

Note the subtle difference between Thicken (edge perpendicular to cone) and Shell (edge perpendicular to axis).

You could also complete with only one Revolve feature - but that would require a more complex sketch that I am too lazy to do.

One more method if you want to keep your Trig skills sharp. Use a Thin Wall Extrusion and for the Taper Angle use the following formula. Model is attached.

It works fine. Thanks a lot. This part is to replace the holder for yarn. My wife use this on a Overlock saw machine. The holders now are crumling after some time.
