I'm a bit confused by this design - you seem to have 9 different components all with similar geometry, but with added cutouts on each component. Is that really what you intended? There are a lot of overlapping surfaces here, including some with coincident faces. This is what is blocking you from selecting the cutouts - there are several components with geometry that overlaps, preventing you from getting to the surface I think you want. I suspect that you really want all the geometry in a single component that you can send to CAM.

When trying to select a surface, the only surface I can select is the outer faces of the block. I am unable to select any hole surfaces(except 2) or any 3D surfaces that I used the combine cut tool to create. Does anyone have any advice for me?

can you share your model here, and maybe a screencast of what you are trying to do? It's hard to tell without a bit more information. Thanks.

Thank you for the response. I am not able to supply a screencast. When I tried to download, it would not give me the option to download for fusion360. Here is the model though. I need to select the cavity of the mold so that I can create a toolpath to rough it out. When I mouse over it, it wont highlight or let me select the surface.

I did not intend to do this. I imported the model to create the cavities in this mold, but I imported multiple times and used the move/copy and align features to place the model part. I then used the combine cut function to create the cavity. Is there a better way to do it? How do I accomplish this and not end up with multiple components and overlapping surfaces?

I see a couple of problems with your design. The first one that I see which is at the root of the "too many components" problem is here:

when you are repositioning the golf tees in the mold, each time you create a new empty component. This is what causes all the components.

Second, and this is really more personal preference, I think, is you used Derive to insert the tee into the mold design. I would just use Insert, so it comes in as its own component. Then, you can just create instances of the tee, and do all the cuts at one time. I apologize - in the screencast below, I forgot to set the type to "Cut", so I had to go back and change it... But, hopefully this will point you in the right direction.

If you're going to machine it you're making life hard having the cavities at an angle. Parallel to the edges of the mould will be easier to machine.

Partly down to it makes programing more difficult and the code size bigger but also it make checking the part more difficult. If it all works first time then no problem but if you get any misalignment you can't easily measure anything.
