topic Drawing template elements only show on the first sheet in Fusion Support Forum

I set up a template with several elements outside of the Title Block.

I set up a Custom Table on a drawing template Component sheet. It's supposed to be for me to enter the next assembly that part/assembly is used on, and what sheet that is. Similar story with a revision table on the cover page.

I put in an image as well (in this case to white-out a section of the title block without creating a second block, so I can edit the whole drawing set block at once. But that shouldn't matter)

Problem is, when I create a drawing of an assembly from that template, only the first sheet with a given element has that element!

The first assembly sheet has the white-out rectangle and revision table, the first component sheet has a Next Assembly table, etc.

But every subsequent assembly or component sheet is missing those elements.

The only elements that are preserved are model views of all types, parts lists, bend tables and title blocks.

So basically half of the elements you can supposedly add to a drawing template are broken. What's up with that?

Hi @Anonymous, thanks for posting.

You can check if the Fusion does not use integrated graphics card. Click Help icon in top-right corner in Fusion 360 window, go to Support and Diagnostic and choose Graphics Diagnostic. If the integrated card is on, try to switch Graphics driver in Preferences (also top-right corner in Fusion 360 window, next to Help option) or try to switch between different option in Graphics > Display section also in Preferences. You can force Fusion 360 to use dedicated graphics card by following the steps from this article.

Also make sure if your graphics driver is up-to-date.

Sometimes the display issues may be caused by using docking station. If so, if it is possible, try to connect the monitor directly to the computer, and then check if the issue still occurs.

Looks like it is running on the dGPU (diagnostic below, Surface Book 2), it has the latest drivers, and I'm not using a docking station. Everything looks the same when I move the window to my laptop's screen.

It seems like you suspect something is wrong with displaying these elements, but the problem is that they don't exist on the subsequent pages. If I drag selection boxes over the area where the elements should be, nothing is selected. So it's not just a graphical glitch.

https://a360.co/3Ax90lB
Link to drawing generated from the template.

https://a360.co/2YI7ksy
Link to the template the drawing was generated from.

I re-ordered the sheets so it's easy to compare. Sheets 1-3 are from the "Assembly" template sheet. Note the revision table top left and white rectangle obscuring the "SCALE" cell bottom right.

Sheets 4-6 are from the "Assembly Instruction" template sheet. Note the "NEXT ASSEMBLY" table and white rectangle obscuring the "SCALE" cell, both in bottom right.

Sheets 7-8 are from the "Sheet Metal Detail" template sheet. Note the "NEXT ASSEMBLY" table bottom right.

Graphics Diagnostic:
[GPU Information]
GPU Device: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060
GPU RAM: 6144 MB
GPU Driver API: DirectX 11.0
GPU Driver Version: 466.27
GPU Driver Date: 04/27/2021

[Graphics Effects Settings]
Anti Aliasing: Off
Ambient Occlusion: Off
Object Shadow: Off
Ground Shadow: Off
Ground Reflection: Off
Selection Display Style: Simple
Transparency Effect: Better Performance

[Limit effects to optimize performance]
On

Bump.

This is still an issue. Are these elements supposed to be on every sheet made from the template or not?

If not, what a worthless template feature. I will definitely be dumping Fusion after this project if that's the case.
