topic Transition from Fusion 360 to Solidworks in Fusion Support Forum

I learnt 3D modelling using Fusion 360. Now I have been asked to learn Solidworks. I did a small project in Fusion 360 and would like to export all my work to Solidworks. Is there a magic wand out there where I can export design history, sketches, construction geometry?

No, there is not. With a couple of partial exceptions, there are no feature recipe converters that would cover enough cases to be useful, between any two parametric CAD products. The feature sets are just too different between products.

Thanks for writing back. If I knew this would be a struggle, I would never use Fusion 360. In these modern age we are still struggling to shift entire data to another software. Lessons learnt the hard way.
