    <description>&lt;P&gt;There are a few ways to get the outcome.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Quickest is to extend / duplicate the original body and use Sketch &amp;gt; Project Intersect this extension where it passes the current sketch plane.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Similar but different is to Project to Surface on destination sketch plane with Vector assignment.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Both require a dummy body.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>changing the axis of projected geometry</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;By default, when the geometry is projected, the geometry projects following the axis perpendicular to the sketch plane. Is there a way to change this so that it uses another axis to project? The attached screenshot demonstrates typical behavior. In my situation, I would like to project long the origin axis of the "steel" part rather than the current sketch planes origin axis.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
