topic Missing canvas when doing a local render? in Fusion Support Forum

Looking to do a render of a new art piece before placing all of the elements and I cannot figure out how to ensure that the canvas is included in the render.

Essentially this is a piece of art on a wall. I took a picture of the artwork in its current state and placed it as a canvas over the material to make it look realistic. I then placed a few wireframe cubes to get a feel for the final look.

I then wanted to render this but the canvas keeps disappearing even though it is shown in the preview.

Any ideas why it would go missing and how to make it stay?

See screenshot.

Thanks!!!

Worth noting that the canvas is also missing when doing an "in-canvas" render.

I just tried adding the background artwork as a "decal" and that looks like it worked. Though, I do not think this is the desired outcome and would still like to know how to have the original canvas from the "Design" page end up in the final render so I don't have to duplicate the work.

Canvas does not show up in the render, you have to use a decal. You may want to deselect chain faces also.
