Hi all, I installed Fusion on my old laptop but the view was terrible (see screenshot). I reinstalled Windows (because it was overfilled with my son's games etc.) to "speed up things" and then Fusion worked "properly" - only sometimes saying something about slow machine or improper driver. So I installed new drivers and wow! the view is terrible 😞

I know, the best solution is to buy computer with Nvidia GF 4090 but that is not a solution that I am looking for...

The wierd thing is that it worked properly with "Standard VGA driver" and is barely usable with super duper latest Nvidia driver 😞 Do you have any tips, for instance to change anything in the settings, to avoid the mess?

Thanks in advance,

R.

Have your tried all of these? Remember, you have to restart Fusion 360 if you change them.

Hi Jack, Thanks for your reply. I tried all of these options; DX9 was even worse, DX11 and OpenGL were about the same as depicted above...

I would say "old machine" and give up if I hadn't seen the clear view previously. I am considering reinstalling Windows once again and stay with the basic drivers but it is not the most technical solution...

Schoul you think of anything else please let me know.

Thanks again,

R.

Hello @joachym

Just wanted to confirm if you were able to download and install latest driver updates from vendor's website. Sometimes updates from Windows updates don't download the latest graphics drivers. We witnessed it in the past.

Hi Rohit,

As I said, the computer is old, so the last Nvidia driver update was back in 2015 (integrated Intel HD even in 2013) - by the way, may the two GPUs (dedicated and integrated) conflict somehow?

Again, what makes me still try is that the laptop is obviously CAPABLE of correct processing... Anyway, my patient slowly sails away 😞

Thanks for your concerns,

R.
