Patch and Stitch Error

I currently have an addin that runs through a bunch of scripts using surfacing, patching, and stitching to create a custom device. Usually it works great. Howeve,r sometimes I get weird issues with the surfacing such as the one below. This causes the addin to fail way more often then it should. When trying to patch these edges (the bottom edges are G2 while the rest are G0) the stitching process creates a weird blip(seen in image). When I try a patch without G2 continuity (G1 or G0) it works fine. However, I need it to be G2 as it is a very delicate area and necessary for the design. I am attaching my fusion file with the patch and stitch attempt showing the oddly created surface. Please let me know if you have any recommendations on how to fix this or if this problem is fixable at all. Thanks.

I tried to edit the patch and changed G2 for Edge6, the stitch result looks fine. Refer to the attached picture and design file.

Thanks for looking at this. I also found that I can play around with some of the continuities that enable this patch to work within the defined space. The reason that that edge is set to G0 is because the surface becomes bubbled around the edges, makes it harder to fillet later, and we wanted that edge transition to represent a clear difference of components. But my main question is that as you can see the patch in my configuration works, until the stitch is applied. When stitched, it creates the weird surfacing. I am not sure if this is a bug or just poor modeling on my part, but any further assistance would be appreciated.

OK, understood! I suppose this should be a bug/improvement in here. I'll log an internal defect to track this problem.

I also tried to stitch the model with some additional steps:

Unstitched the original surface body.
Stitched the Patch and the side(vertical) surface.
Stitched the above surface and the semicircular surface.
Stitched the above surface and all other surfaces, the final result looks fine.

Thank you so much for this. I think this will be a really helpful stop gap to set up in my addin.
