      <description>&lt;P&gt;hi all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i've been trying to creating this ring but everytime i revolve a rectangle (1mm x .5mm) it offsets at a weird angle. im trying to make 2 cuts. one for the top arc and one for the bottom. please help me out. i've attached the fd3 file&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks in advance!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The main issue is that the rectangle drawn in your sketch is offset of the sketch plane (its a 3D sketch).       <description>The quickest fix is to edit the sketch, select the rectangle and right click, then pick 'move to sketch plane' &lt;BR /&gt;An observation - this design is full of unconstrained sketches. It would be wise and prudent to define them fully!</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I cleaned up unused sketches and draw the arcs in sketch with dimensions.&lt;BR /&gt;Emboss the arcs and then used revolve on 2 faces.&lt;BR /&gt;I hope I got your design intent correct?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="arcring.jpg" style="width: 999px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1021026i86B7E9A04209FDD1/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="arcring.jpg" alt="arcring.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
