Error: Unable to Open File

Hello all, I have a query about an error I am getting. System error: 123 for reference.

Background: I have been using Fusion 360 for several years now without any issue. Suddenly the other day trying to post-process a machining operation I was met with this error.

Situation: I have successfully post-processed this file before, I made a few changes and suddenly was met with this error. I am quite stumped as to why it is unable to find that file. I can post some of the other processes in this project, some of the others give me the same issue. Most of the ones giving me an issue have had no changes made which could cause any type of error. When I search for the folder that this is referencing, I cannot find it. I know there are some manufacturing issues with Win7, but I am running Win10 Pro, so shouldn't be a Windows issue.

Assessment: I have uninstalled and reinstalled Fusion twice now, thinking it would create new folders. I am still presented with the same error and inability to locate that folder through search.

Any help would be hugely appreciated! I am not sure what logs to pull, so some insight on that may be helpful. Also, if I need to upload the file, I will do so, but I don't think it's a file specific issue.

Thank you in advance!
Matt

Hi @mattkriebs,

The error maybe because of using special characters in the post name.
Remove any special characters from the name in the post and try to repost the setup sheet.

Hello @mattkriebs

I thinks @dsouzasujay is right, never use the following characters in a file or folder name

:

\

>

'

"

I think you used " at the end of your filename before the extension .cps

Cheers
