What mac are you working on ?

I work on a 2017 15" Macbook Pro that is connected to an LGCX48 TV/Monitor.

On the notebook display, I work with the default, but on the 4k TV in native resolution Text and icons were too small.

So I changed that in the display setting and that works perfectly (for me that is):

UI Scaling on Mac

Good evening,

Brand new user here. I've just installed Fusion 360, and am starting the tutorials. My first challenge: I've spent an hour trying to find an answer to this, but with no luck. I've found years worth of similar complaints on the forums, but no recent answers, and it seems impossible this hasn't been addressed yet: the simple issue of UI scaling.

On my iMac, the fonts are VERY small, and I'd simply like to increase the UI scaling. That seems like something that would be easy to find under preferences, but alas...no luck. Am I missing something obvious, or is this actually still an issue for those of us without perfect eyesight who'd like a slightly scaled-up UI? It's a terrible eye strain at the current microscopic font size.

Thanks for the help!

Hi @jbrawnTEGSA

Thanks for posting the query in the community.

Unfortunately, it's not currently possible to change the UI font/UI scaling. But this has been requested before so it's on the product team's roadmap!

It's not possible either on mac or windows. Hoping to get this feature in the Fusion 360 future release versions.

Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply, Pramod. Given how many years this feature has been requested, I'm shocked to see it's still not a standard feature. At least I can stop looking for it, but this is a disappointing first impression of a tool I've just started using. I'll have to investigate other options, like changing my monitor resolution while using F360 – not ideal, obviously.

So far the tutorials are very well designed, so I'll focus on that silver lining and adapt to the tiny UI font in time. Hopefully your team addresses this long-overdue feature request soon.

Thanks,

Jason
