Good Day

I just started with Fusion 360; as highlighted in the attached video, I added the sketch dimension after adding the x4 fillets - I cannot maintain a relation to outer edges; is there a setting or step that I am missing?

After adding and applying the fillets, should there be x2 coincided constraint icons instead of one?

Please assist.

A number of things going on:

On each end there is a microscopic line segment between the arcs.

There are a lot of unnecessary or redundant dimensions where a simple sketch constraint would suffice.

this is compounding the issue with the arcs/fillets as each has a radius but the centerpoints are unconstrained.

You can simplify this considerably by first deleting the line segments between the fillets that are here:

Then constrain the fillets. I'm not certain why you need two arcs/fillets on either end as one should be fine. I've attached a simplified sketch.

This is the first time using Fusion; I am working through training modules to get familiar with the application, which landed in the above scenario. Thank you very much for the solution. I see that Fusion has a learn option which I will follow.

Would have been easier to use one of the slot tools rather than filleting a rectangle.

@fortuinlhd A tip as you're new to Fusion, best practice is to avoid filleting in sketches and add fillets as a feature to the solid body. The example here is perhaps one of the exceptions to this rule. Try and keep sketches as simple as possible as they will be easier to fully constrain and changing dimensions will give more predictable results.
