topic Double vision when creating new base view in Fusion Support Forum

I have a drawing I've created from a design. The first base view that inserts when you first create the drawing is fine and normal, but when I insert another base view, it seems to be weirdly doubled. Any idea why this is happening?

Here is the screencast (embedding seems to be broken):
https://knowledge.autodesk.com/community/screencast/d16b68b2-ba65-47f0-a5a8-b4976151781f

Here's another screencast:
https://autode.sk/3IDNhwg

Here, it shows I can get rid of the doubling of the chassis component by turning off the chassis in the new base view. Which is a work-around that sort of solves my immediate problem, but it still seems like either there's a bug or something I don't fundamentally understand.

Figured it out! One of the components (the bottom) is derived from another component (the chassis), so there's a copy of the chassis in the bottom. When I create the new base view it turns visibility for everything on, regardless of how it's set in the design. I just needed to turn it off:

https://autode.sk/3LiGKJ5
