Hello,

I am trying to use two different thicknesses on different sheet metal parts in the same project. I have mostly 1mm parts, as specified in the project sheet metal rule, but Fusion 360 won't let me use 2mm on another, separate part because the rule is set to 1mm. Is there a way to use both the 2mm thickness and 1mm thickness, obviously on separate parts, but without having to create a separate project file? Can I use multiple rules perhaps? I haven't been able to find a working solution.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You can have different sheet metal rules for each component in the same file. But within a component you can have only one rule:

So if you make your files each in a component you can have it without any problem.
